A penetrating sealer that locks in timbers tannin and oils, preventing issues with discolouration and adhesion caused by natural oils leaching over time. Proofseal reduces the tendency for lighter coloured timbers to darken once they are top coated. It is ideal for sealing naturally oily timbers such as Spotted Gum, Brush Box and Tallowwood. Proofseal can be overcoated with Feast Watson Clear Varnish, WeatherProof Varnish, FloorProof Pro, FloorSeal Oil, FloorClear, Floor Paint, Liming White Floor Finish, Black Japan Floor Finish and Crackle Lacquer. Note: Proofseal should NOT be used under Feast Watson Woodshield Oil, Decking Oil, Decking Stain, Outdoor Furniture Oil or Tung Oil.
